The aging process may make us wiser, but we don’t always appreciate the physical aspects. One of the common ill effects of maturity is a loss of fat volume in both the face and body. The cheeks become hollow-looking, the lips begin to deflate, the breasts begin to sag and shrink, and the buttocks lose their plumpness and projection.
Fortunately, there is an excellent cosmetic solution for volume loss, called fat transfer. The fat transfer process harvests excess fat from the places we don’t want it, such as the hips, belly or thighs, purifies and sterilizes it, and then injects it into the areas we do want the fat, such as the breasts or rear end. Fat transfer has a double benefit – it contours the donor areas (tummy, love handles, thighs) while enhancing the target zones.
